Have you all tried

Have you all tried registering?  I tried registering today, but active said that anyone signing up now needs to be able to provide a volunteer or else we forfeit our spot.  I contacted the race director and am waiting to hear back.  Hopefully this is a glitch with active.  Because Goldmedalracing's website doesn't say anything about this..

My guess is that the race is full, but they need more volunteers so that's how they're doing it.  When I registered you could bring a volunteer and get $15 off, but you didn't have to.  Gold medal racing sent out an email a few days ago that said there were only 20 spots left.

All, please reference what I

All, please reference what I emailed out to the team captains today:

"If your team is planning to go to Powell3 and has not registered yet, please reply to this email or call me with the number of folks you would like to register no later than 7 pm tonight (21 Sept).  The race is full, but we know many schools have not registered, based on some communications I have had with representatives from different schools.  We will try to negotiate some additional slots but are making no guarantees.  However, in order to do this, we need to find out exactly how many slots we need, which is why it is imperative that we find out tonight how many slots are needed.

Yeah We are going to have to

Yeah We are going to have to come up with something better for next year.  Maybe recruit a Race Director to put a collegiate race on for us.  We want collegiate waves not age groups, and a $50 to $60 entry fee.  If anyone knows anyone who would be willing to put a race on for the conference let us know.  I could do it if we got desperate.
